The credit card industry has seen some shake-up with co-branded airline credit cards during 2015, such as JetBlue dropping their partnership with American Express. But one of the long-standing relationships will continue.

Today, Chase and Avios announced a multi-year extension to their co-branded credit card, British Airways Visa Signature Card. The two companies have had an agreement for more than 20 years.

This co-branded card gives travelers some attractive benefits:

* Each calendar year when a cardholder makes at least $30,000 in purchases on the card, they'll earn a "travel together" ticket good for up to two years.

* New account holders earn 50,000 bonus Avios after they make $2,000 in purchases within the first three months of opening the account.

* Ongoing rewards include three Avios for every $1 spent on British Airways, Iberia and Openskies purchases, and one Avios earned for every $1 spent on other purchases.

The card has has a variable 15.99% APR. It has no foreign transaction fees and already comes with smart chip and signature technology that enables chip-based transactions in foreign countries.

"Since year one, we've been proud of the strategic alliance between Chase, Avios and British Airways, and the program we have worked together to establish," Richard Quigley, President of Chase's Business Card Unit, said in a statement. "We look forward to continuing to forge a meaningful relationship to ultimately create new ways to deepen the compelling value provided to cardmembers."
